Isodecap - Concrete stripper - Sika

Isodecap is an acidified liquid product intended for stripping mortars and concretes.
It acts by dissolving hardened cement .

Features

Isodecap, thanks to its stripping action, allows:

• Cleaning of the material, limiting the attack on the metal, thanks to the decorrosion inhibitor it contains.
• Elimination of superficial milt.

Application areas

• Panels and metal formwork.
• Concrete mixers, hoppers, tanks...
• Small construction equipment: trowels, trowels...
• Before application of paints, coatings, coatings on concrete.
• On the tiles after application of the grouting mortar.
• When making washed gravel facings.

Application

1. In all cases, carry out a preliminary test on a small surface to check that the substrate has not deteriorated.
2. Apply the solution with a brush or sprayer.
3. Leave to act for a few minutes for the attack to take place completely.
4. The reaction is controlled by the appearance of a characteristic bubbling.
5. In the case of significant thicknesses of concrete, reinforce the chemical attack by scraping with a knife.
6. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
   If necessary, repeat the operation.
7. For small site equipment, it is preferable to soak the soiled equipment in a bath of Isodecap.
8. Then rinse with plenty of water.
9. Apply Isodecap in a ventilated room (the vapors can attack metal structures).

Consumption

Depending on the thickness of the concrete to be eliminated, Isodecap is used pure or diluted at the rate of 1 volume of Isodecap for 2 to 3 volumes of water.
