Sikadur-41 CF normal - Repair Mortar - Sika

Sikadur -41 CF normal is a 3-component thixotropic epoxy repair mortar.

Application areas

Applicable as repair mortar and adhesive, and as abrasion and impact resistant wear layer.

Application

1. Mix components A and B together for a minimum of 3 minutes using an electric drill at low rotation (maximum 300 rpm), until a homogeneous gray mixture is obtained.
2. Then add component C and continue mixing until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
3. Avoid inclusion of air during mixing.
4. Then transfer the mixture to a clean container and mix again at low speed for 1 minute to keep the inclusion of air to a minimum.
5. Mix only the applicable quantity within the application time.
6. When applying a thin layer, apply the mixture to the prepared surface using a spatula, trowel, notched trowel (or by hand protected by gloves).
   For application as a repair mortar, use formwork.
7. When applying for bonding metal profiles to vertical surfaces, hold and press evenly for a minimum of 12 hours, depending on thickness (no more than 5 mm) and ambient temperature.
8. After hardening, check adhesion by tapping with a hammer.

Consumption

~ 2.0 kg/m² per mm of thickness.
