Sikafloor-3240 is a 2-component, solvent-free, coloured, self-leveling, robust and elastic polyurethane resin , 100% solids content according to the Deutsche Bauchemie test method.
The product uses Sika 's unique i-Cure technology to improve surface aesthetics and reduce sensitivity to relative air humidity during application.

Application areas

• Smooth poured coating with crack-bridging properties for industrial floors in production and storage areas, workshops, etc.
• Poured broadcast coating with crack-bridging properties for wet work areas (food and beverage industry, etc.), car parks and loading ramps, etc.
• Can be used on indoor asphalt surfaces such as shopping malls, showrooms and storage areas.

Application

1. First mix component A mechanically and then add component B in its entirety to component A.
2. Then mix for 2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
3. After mixing components A and B, add quartz sand F34 (0.1 – 0.3 mm) and continue mixing for another 2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
4. To ensure proper mixing, pour the mixed product into a clean container and remix briefly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
5. Before application, let the mixture stand for 3 minutes
   . Prior to application, check substrate moisture content, relative air humidity and dew point.
6. Pour the Sikafloor-3240 and spread evenly using a notched trowel or a squeegee.
7. If used in a self-leveling system, debubble in two directions (criss-cross) to achieve uniform thickness and eliminate entrapped air.

Conditioning

• Component A Colored liquid: 20.25 kg.
• Component B Amber liquid: 4.75 kg.
• Component A + B: 25 kg.
