Sika ViscoBond is a concentrated liquid admixture developed for use as a bonding agent for cementitious products for interior and exterior applications.
It is also used as an admixture for mortars and concretes to make them waterproof , increase their workability and increase their resistance to traction, bending and adhesion.

• Highly resistant screeds/overlays with reduced dusting and high resistance to water and wear.
• Masonry mortar and grouting/filling mortar for hollow masonry joints.
• Admixture for repair and reprofiling mortars.

Application

1. When using Sika ViscoBond, achieve proper mixing and test local materials.
2. Do not use below +5°C.
3. Do not add Sika ViscoBond to dry cement.
4. Always make sure to use a minimum volume of mixing water when starting to mix and add water at the end. This will achieve the desired consistency.
5. It is recommended to carry out a preliminary test before application.

Consumption

• Sika recommends a dosage of approximately 12% of the weight of the cement.
