Silirub+ S8800 - Neutral silicone sealant for natural stone - Soudal

Silirub+ S8800 is a high quality neutral elastic one-component sealant based on natural stone silicones.

Features :

• No staining (edge zone pollution) on porous surfaces such as marble, granite and other natural stones.
• No hydrophobic effect on natural stone.
• Very low emissions, EC1 PLUS R certified.
• Very malleable.
• Doesn't streak - very moldable and smooth.
• Resists weather conditions.
• Permanent elasticity after polymerization.
• Neutral hardening.
• Resistant to UV rays.
• Insensitive to mould, contains ZnP (biocide with fungicidal action).
• Adheres perfectly to glass, ceramic, enamel and galvanized metals.
• Maximum allowable deformation of 25%.
• Free of solvents, halogens, acids and isocyanates.
• Resists common detergents and disinfectants.

Application :

• Permanently elastic joints on natural stones such as marble, granite, blue stone and others in bathrooms, kitchens, etc.
• Connection joints between facade elements, thresholds, kitchen worktops etc. natural stone in general building applications.

Conditioning :

• 310ml cartridge.

Manual :

1. Apply with a manual or pneumatic gun. Clean with White Spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use (before hardening).
2. Finishing: With a soapy solution or a Soudal smoothing product, before lamination. Do not let the smoothing product dry on the putty or substrate.
3. After sufficient skin of the putty has formed, rinse off the smoothing product with clean water.
4. Repair: With the same product.
