Sika Antisol MP-10 with increased active substance is used in construction as a curing agent for concrete.

Features

Spraying a liquid curing compound is an effective curing method for fresh or young concrete, preventing premature drying of the concrete.
The Sika Antisol MP-10 is a wax-based emulsion without solvents which is very effective, and which forms - after drying - a protective film almost impermeable to water vapor on the surface of the concrete.

This causes in the concrete:

• A blocking of the pores of the concrete on the surface
• Extremely high protection against early evaporation
• Protection against dehydration
• Prevention of crack formation due to concrete shrinkage or shrinkage
• Better mechanical resistance in the layer near the surface
• Does not run on sloping surfaces

The disappearance of the protective film depends on the climatic conditions and the mechanical loads exerted on the surface.

Application areas :

• Concrete for traffic areas e.g. roads, airports (type: VH, VM)
• For constructions not intended for traffic (type: BM)
• Concrete slabs
• Horizontal concrete surfaces without subsequent application of a coating
• Vertical concrete surfaces without subsequent application of a coating
• Under high temperature, strong sunlight, strong wind and low humidity

Application

1. Directly after finishing the concrete surface (VH) or when the concrete has become mat wet (VM), spray Sika Antisol MP-10 evenly and covering the entire surface well.
2. The earlier the application, the more effective the protection will be.
3. Remove puddles before starting.
4. Freshly applied Sika Antisol MP-10 initially appears as a white film; differences in film thickness may cause spots.
5. Additional curing measures are necessary at very high or very low temperatures.
6. Extensive cleaning is necessary to remove any residue of the protective film eg steam jet or intensive scrubbing with a brush in the event of a subsequent application of concrete, mortar, plaster, composite screed, construction adhesives, paints, etc. .
7. Shake or stir well before use after prolonged storage.
8. Avoid contamination, use clean equipment (risk of wax flocculation!).
