Sika Boom-405 Water Stop is a 2-component, self-expanding , fast- curing polyurethane insulation foam that does not require ambient humidity to cure.

Its high density and very fine structure of mostly closed cells create a watertight seal for wall penetrations for pipes , conduits or pipe fittings .
The special packaging allows the application to be interrupted for a certain time and then resumed by replacing the nozzle.
EC 1 PLUS label: very low VOC emissions .

Areas of application

The product is designed for the watertight sealing of:

• Openings in the walls for pipes and conduits.
• Cable conduits.
• Pipe fittings (e.g. in manholes).
• Prefabricated concrete elements.
• Pipe plug seals with a diameter of up to 200 mm.

The product can be used indoors and outdoors, above and below ground level.

Application

1. Shake the aerosol can well at least 20 times before use.
   Repeat the shaking after long interruptions in use.
2. Remove the aerosol can cap.
3. Insert the nozzle into the valve so that the nozzle extension tube is oriented in the direction of the arrow.
4. Fold the application lever down onto the nozzle head.
5. Dispense a small amount to check the color.
   Uneven color of the foam indicates incorrect mixing of the two parts in the nozzle.
6. If the color is not uniform, remove the nozzle and shake the aerosol can again 20 times.
7. Attach another nozzle, dispense a small amount of foam and check the color.
   - If the color is uniform, you can proceed with the application.
   Otherwise, repeat the two previous steps.
8. Apply the product by firmly pressing the application lever.
   The valve system is an on/off valve.
   Therefore, dosing is not possible, otherwise mixing errors may occur.
9. Always press firmly and fully on the application lever.
10. Only partially fill the gaps/cavities as the foam expands during hardening.
11. The application can be discontinued at any time.
    Replace the nozzle before resuming application.
12. Once the aerosol has been opened, it must be used within 2 weeks.
