Elixprim - Opacifying printing for walls, ceilings and woodwork - Owatrol

Filling acrylic alkyd that evens out and blocks new absorbent substrates .
Adheres to difficult substrates, fixes lightly flouring backgrounds.

Increases performance and facilitates the application of the finish .
Insulates alkaline bases , regulates the differences in absorption of porous bases to avoid the phenomena of sinking and shading.

Properties :

• Based on two resins for an optimal result:
  • Alkyd: sets deeply and adheres to difficult bottoms.
  • Acrylic: hardens on the surface for high resistance without odor.
• Apply before all finishing paints in aqueous or solvent phase (wait 24 hours before applying solvent), wallpaper and wall covering.
• Yield may vary and/or be lower depending on the condition and porosity of the substrate.
  About 8 m2 /L per coat.

Application :

1. Mix well before use.
2. Apply in one coat.
3. Can be applied by brush, roller, Airless or low pressure spray gun (after 5 to 10% dilution). Test beforehand.
4. On a flat surface, use a lacquer roller, while on an uneven background, use a 12 mm textured polyamide roller.

Destination :

• Interior: all usual new or old masonry supports that are normally absorbent: brick, stone, plaster, cardboard plasterboard, old paint (aqueous or solvent-based phases), non-tannic woodwork and frames (if tannic wood use Owafilter), glass fabric, old unpeeled wallpapers, non-ferrous metals.
• Outside: only under shelter on the usual building materials, new or old, absorbent.
• Not applicable on bare ferrous metals.
