Elixhydro - Hydro Pliolite facelift paint - Owatrol

Hydro Pliolite resurfacing paint for new and renovation substrates.

Properties :

• Facade restoration paint type D2 (microporous), based on Hydro Pliolite resins in aqueous phase for the protection and decoration of new facades or those to be renovated.
• Beautiful appearance rendering.
• High opacity to hide imperfections.
• Adheres to all mineral supports, even very slightly damp (light morning dew).
• Insensitive to alkaline funds.
• Great ease and comfort of application: no rework, quick drying (worksite safety in the event of untimely rain).
• Let the support breathe.
• Good resistance to atmospheric dirt and bad weather.
• Can be tinted with a universal dye or by machine (use a dye with good outdoor performance).
• Apply to metal and wood with an appropriate undercoat beforehand.
• The yield can vary according to several parameters: the state and the porosity of the support, the temperature and the relative hygrometry
  6 to 8 m2 /L per coat

Application :

• The application conditions must comply with DTU 59.1
• Work thickly and equalize without pulling.

Raw bottoms (without paint), porous, chalky, doubtful:

• Fix and restructure the base: apply a coat of Elixfond* 2 in 1.
  Leave to dry for 4 hours.
• Finish: apply 2 coats of Elixhydro (150 to 200 wet microns per coat).

Mechanically solid, adherent and dust-free raw funds:

• 2 coats of Elixhydro may be sufficient.

Previously painted surfaces in good condition and free of microorganisms. Excluding CSR and RPE:

• Clean at high pressure or use Elixclean if heavily soiled.
  Rinse well and let dry for at least 24 hours.
• Finish: apply 2 coats of Elixhydro (150 to 200 wet microns per coat).

• Outdoor and indoor use.
• Applies to usual supports of smooth to weakly structured masonry, new or old absorbent: bricks, cement, stone, breeze blocks, plaster, shuttered or precast concrete, coatings based on traditional hydraulic binders (in accordance with standard NF P 15-201 of DTU 26.1) and on old acrylic paints or matt pliolites in good condition and well adherent.
• Not recommended on waterproof coatings, RSE, RPE and ITE.
• Wet rooms such as cellars, basements, underground garages.
