    • Hold the can upside down when extruding the foam. Adjust the flow rate by operating the adjustment screw and the trigger or with the adapter.
    • Fill joints and cavities to 60-70%.
    • For wider joints, apply in several coats and moisten between coats.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is the difference between a sprayable foam and a nozzle foam?
Sprayable foam allows for much more precise flow control, a better finish, and less product waste. It is ideal for professional or heavy-duty use.
  2. Is Parafoam NBS moisture resistant?
Yes, once hardened, it is resistant to moisture, but it must be protected from UV rays (paint, coating, sealant).
  3. Can the foam be painted after application?
Yes, after complete hardening, the foam can be painted, coated or covered without any problem.
  4. Is it suitable for soundproofing?
Yes, thanks to its closed-cell structure, Parafoam NBS effectively contributes to the reduction of airborne noise.
  5. Is the foam fireproof?
Parafoam NBS is not a fire-resistant foam. For specific fire resistance requirements, it is recommended to use a PU foam certified for fire resistance (RF).
  6. What is the shelf life?
Generally, up to 12 months in its original packaging, stored upright in a dry and cool place.
  7. Can the spray can be reused after opening?
Yes, provided the gun remains screwed onto the can and the gun is cleaned after use. This allows for subsequent reuse without clogging.
