Parachim Standard - Two-component sealing mortar - DL Chemicals

A two-component, styrene-free, polyester-based chemical anchor. The product has been developed for anchoring threaded rods in solid or hollow building materials. Thanks to its thixotropic composition, it is suitable for horizontal and vertical applications. Parachim Standard can be used in dry, damp, or water-filled holes and is applied with a standard gun. Once cured, it forms a strong, durable, and high-load-bearing anchor. Suitable for light to medium-duty applications in concrete, masonry, and other common substrates.

  • Two-component chemical anchor for fixing in solid and hollow materials
  • Styrene-free, suitable for use in closed spaces
  • Suitable for dry, wet and water-filled holes
  • Suitable for ceiling applications (without additional accessories)
  • Fast charging time
  • The anchor can be placed near the edges (see installation parameters)
  • Applies with a standard cartridge gun

Applications:

  • Can be used for anchoring applications (medium loads).
  • Can be used in solid materials (concrete, solid masonry, rock, hard natural stone).
  • Can be used in hollow materials (hollow masonry and hollow blocks).
  • For fixing awnings, canopies, machinery, railings, balustrades, brackets, shelves, water heaters, air conditioners, panels, roller shutters, masonry supports, satellite dishes, etc.
  • Suitable for anchoring on small surfaces.

Instructions for use:

Application in solid or hollow materials:

  1. Drill the hole to the correct depth and diameter.
  2. Deep clean the hole in the following sequence: For solid materials: blow x2, then brush x2, then blow x2, then brush x2 and blow x2. For hollow materials: brush 1x, then blow x1. Note: Use a brush with the necessary extensions and clean compressed air. For holes 400 mm or less deep, a blow pump can be used. The resin must be injected into a properly cleaned, dry hole. Remove any standing water before cleaning.
  3. In hollow or perforated masonry: insert the appropriate injection screen.
  4. Once the hole is prepared, open the cartridge and screw the mixing tip onto the cartridge. Insert the cartridge into the standard gun.
  5. Extrude the first part of the cartridge, until you obtain the resin with a uniform color and without traces.
  6. Insert the mixing tip into the bottom of the hole or screen. Extrude the material and slowly remove the mixing tip from the hole or screen, ensuring there are no air gaps when the mixing tip is removed. For solid materials: fill the hole approximately 1/2 to 3/4 full and completely remove the mixing tip. For hollow materials: fill the screen completely.
  7. Immediately insert the clean threaded rod (free of oil and formwork release agents) to the bottom of the hole using a back and forth twisting motion ensuring all threads are well coated. Adjust to the correct position within the specified handling time (see table).
  8. Excess product will be expelled from the hole evenly around the threaded rod, indicating that the hole is full. This excess product must be removed from the edges of the hole before curing.
  9. Allow the mortar to harden. Do not stir the mortar until the loading time has elapsed (depending on the base material conditions and ambient temperature).
  10. Place the part to be fixed and load it after the loading time has elapsed. Tighten the nut to the recommended torque. Do not overtighten.
  11. Leave the mixing tip on the cartridge. Change to a new tip for the next application.
