Soudaseal Cleanroom is an adhesive putty, based on SMX hybrid polymer, neutral and elastic, for any bonding or repointing.
Ideal for sealing and bonding in specialized applications (hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical industry, cleanrooms etc...) as well as in applications likely to come into direct contact with foodstuffs.
EC 1 PLUS label: very low VOC emissions .

Instructions for use:

1. Apply with a manual or pneumatic gun.
2. Clean with White Spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use (before hardening).
3. Finishing: With a soapy solution or a Soudal smoothing product, before film coating.
4. Repair: With the same product.

1. Is the Soudaseal Cleanroom suitable for use in cleanrooms?
   Yes, its EC1 PLUS certification and its solvent-free, isocyanate-free and extremely low-emission formulation make it a sealant perfectly suited to controlled environments, including ISO cleanrooms.
2. Can the product be applied to slightly damp surfaces?
   Yes, SMX technology allows excellent adhesion even on slightly damp surfaces, which facilitates interventions without waiting time.
3. Is it resistant to harsh cleaning products?
   Yes, it has very good resistance to detergents, disinfectants and industrial cleaners frequently used in sterile environments.
4. Does the sealant yellow over time?
   No, it benefits from excellent stability to UV, aging and retains its clean white appearance.
5. Can it be used in the food industry?
   Yes, in production and processing areas, but not in direct contact with food.
6. Can Soudaseal Cleanroom be used for gluing?
   It is primarily designed as a sealant, but has some adhesive capacity allowing for the light fixing of non-structural elements.
7. What is the complete drying time?
   Allow 2 to 3 mm of polymerization per 24 hours, depending on humidity and temperature. A standard joint is usually dry in 48–72 hours.
8. Can it be repainted?
   Yes, most water-based paints are compatible. A preliminary test is recommended.
9. Can it be used outdoors?
   Yes, it is resistant to weathering, UV rays and temperature variations.
