Sikavit-CF is a chlorine-free accelerator and antifreeze for concrete and mortar.

Features / Advantages

• Sikavit-CF improves the workability of fresh concrete and masonry mortar without the formation of additional air bubbles.

• The product can be used during light frost during the day or in anticipation of nighttime frost and/or cold spells.
• The use of Sikavit-CF has no negative consequences when starting up the concrete pump.

Application

Sikavit-CF can be dosed at the same time as the mixing water or added together with the mixing water.
The practical service life of concrete/masonry mortar depends on several parameters, such as the type of cement, the cement content, the water content and the temperature.

In addition, the following factors must be taken into account:

1. Cement dosage: at least 300 kg/m²
2. Do not use frozen raw materials, reinforcements or formwork.
3. The temperature of the fresh concrete must be at least +5°C when poured into the formwork.
4. Reduce the mixing water to the bare minimum
5. Protect freshly poured concrete from moisture or heat loss until a compressive strength of at least 10 N/mm² is achieved.

Consumption

The dosage is approximately 1.0 to 2.0% of the cement weight.
A preliminary suitability test is necessary before use.
