The renovator that protects and embellishes the mineral facades.

ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint, one product, two functions:

1. Colorful renovator for concrete facades:
   ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint is a colourful product designed to tint and renovate porous walls and facades. Unlike a painting, ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint respects the mineral aspect of the material. The material remains permeable to air and water vapour (no blistering). Its opaque appearance helps to mask any aesthetic defects of the support.
2. Hydrofuge-oleofuge:
   ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint protects against the main causes of degradation such as stains, greasy dirt, infiltrations... The penetration of water, oil and dirt is thus severely limited and the cleanliness of the treated surfaces is thus assured.

Use:

• For porous mineral surfaces (concrete, brick, coating...)

Preparing support:

• Apply the product to a clean, dusted, grease-free and dry surface. To remove greasy stains and traces of pollution use Ecological Decap'Sols Guard or Wash'Guard, for traces of efflorescences, milks or cement sails use Ecological Guard Decap'Laitances.
• Rinse thoroughly with a high-pressure cleaner and allow to dry before ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint is applied.
• The application, preparation and support must comply with the existing DTU, 59.1 (Painting works).

Product preparation:

• Mix the concentrate using a mechanical agitation system for 3 minutes.
• Dilution: 1 kg bucket - 250 mL of water. A 5 kg bucket - 1 L of water.
• Add water slowly and under agitation then continue stirring for 5 minutes.
• Once diluted, the product can be used optimally for 7 days. Beyond that, sedimentation may form a paste that is difficult to re-homogenize.
• Mix with the mechanical agitator before each use.

Application of the product:

• Apply in 2 layers.
• Take care to mix the product every thirty minutes during application to avoid the sedimentation of pigments.
• Waiting time between 2 layers: 2 to 24 hours.
• Mix the product again and systematically before applying the second layer.
• Consumption per layer: 110 g/m2 (or 1 kg for about 9 m2 for one layer).

Application tools:

Apply to short-haired roller (8 mm) for smooth surfaces.

Consumption:

• On dilution: 220 g/m2 or 1 kg for 4.5 m2.
• 5 kg of concentrate - about 27 sqm.
