The renovator that protects and beautifies concrete floors.

ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint, one product, two functions:

1. Colorful renovator for pavers and concrete slab:
   It is a colorful product designed to renovate concrete floors. The ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint Primary must be applied beforehand. Unlike a painting, the ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint is a product of impregnation. It respects the mineral aspect of the material and remains permeable to air and water vapour (no blistering).
2. Hydrofuge-oleofuge:
   ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint protects against the main causes of degradation such as stains, greasy dirt, infiltrations... The penetration of water, oil and dirt is thus severely limited and the cleanliness of the treated surfaces is ensured.

Use:

• Concrete exterior floors (alleys, terraces, courtyards...) subject to domestic pedestrian traffic
• Can also be applied on concrete pavers without application of the primary beforehand

Preparing support:

• Apply the product to a clean, dusted, grease-free and dry surface. To remove greasy stains and traces of pollution use Ecological Decap'Sols Guard or Wash'Guard, for traces of efflorescences, milks or cement sails use Ecological Guard Decap'Laitances.
• Rinse thoroughly with a high-pressure cleaner and allow to dry before ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint is applied.
• Application, preparation and support must comply with the existing DTU, 59.1 (Painting works), 59.3 (Ground painting).

Application:

• Before application, mix the bucket well with a mechanical agitator for 3 minutes (in the center and then on the edges by going up and down the agitator).
• Always do a pre-test to validate the appearance and hold.
• Allow ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint to dry for at least 24 hours before pedestrian re-traffic and 72 hours for light vehicle traffic.
• Maximum efficiency obtained after 7 days.

Application on self-locking pavers:

• Apply ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint in one layer.
• A second layer can be applied if deemed aesthetically necessary (interval between the two layers: 2 to 24 hours).

Application on smooth concrete slabs or caps:

• Apply ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint Primary beforehand with a brush or roller to facilitate grip (consumption: 5 to 15 m2/kg).
• Wait at least 3 hours and no more than 24 hours before applying ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint at 20C.
• Check the primary fact sheet before use.
• Apply ProtectGuard Color Mineral Paint in two layers. Interval between the two layers: 2 to 24 hours.

Application tools:

• Application on self-locking pavers:
  Apply with a long-haired roller (15-18 mm polyamide fiber) for irregular surfaces. The use of a brush is possible especially for finishes.
• Application on smooth concrete slabs or caps:
  Apply with a medium-long hair roller (8-15 mm polyamide fiber)

Consumption:

• Self-locking pavers: 2 to 3 m2/kg
• Concrete slabs or caps: 3 to 5 m2/kg
