FLEXcement premium - Flexible, lightweight tile adhesive - PTB Compaktuna

FLEXcement premium is a dry composition which gives a light, easy-to-work glue with great “ flexibility ”, ready for use by the simple addition of water.

FLEXcement premium not only covers the area of traditional tile adhesives and dispersion adhesives, but guarantees numerous applications where these products can no longer provide solutions.

  This makes FLEXcement PREMIUM an adhesive very suitable for large format tiles, also against the wall.
• A 15 kg bag of FLEXcement PREMIUM corresponds in consumption to a 25 kg bag of conventional glue, which saves on transport and for the construction itself.
• Due to its very high polymer content, FLEXcement PREMIUM can be classified S2 according to standard EN 12002. The combination of very high flexibility, high adhesive force and the possibility of variable thickness allows for Integrate high resistance to shear stresses into the structure of the tiles.
  FLEXcement PREMIUM has a decoupling effect and helps absorb shear stresses between the surface of the tile and the substrate. This makes it possible to glue XXL tiles, to glue on young cement screeds, on young concrete of at least 28 days, and on many different supports.

Manual :

1. The application will always be carried out on a dry, stable, clean, healthy surface, free of dust and traces of oil.
2. The panels serving as support must always be securely fixed before starting to place the tiles.
   FLEXcement PREMIUM should be mixed with approximately 45 to 48% water, i.e. ±6.75 to 7.20 L of water on 15 kg of product.
3. After careful mixing, let the glue thus obtained rest for 5 minutes.
4. Then the glue must be mixed intensively again. The mortar is now ready for use.
5. The support is first covered with a thin layer of mortar using a trowel or a notched spatula.
6. This layer must be well packed.
7. Immediately afterwards a second layer is applied which is divided into regular grooves using a notched spatula (notched spatula 4 to 20 mm).
8. Then the slabs are laid with a small rotating movement and firmly packed.
9. The open time of the applied layer depends on the working conditions and the support.

±0.8 kg/mm/m² powder.

Mix ratio:

±6.75-7.20 L of water per bag (±45-48%)
