FLEXcement premium - Flexible and lightweight tile adhesive - PTB Compaktuna

FLEXcement premium is a dry composition that gives a light, easy-to-work-with, highly flexible glue , ready to use with the simple addition of water.

FLEXcement premium not only covers the field of traditional tile adhesives and dispersion -based adhesives, but also guarantees numerous applications where these products can no longer provide solutions.

  This makes FLEXcement PREMIUM a very suitable adhesive for large format tiles, also against the wall.
• A 15 kg bag of FLEXcement PREMIUM corresponds in consumption to a 25 kg bag of conventional glue, which saves on transport and on the construction itself.
• Due to its very high polymer content, FLEXcement PREMIUM can be classified S2 according to the EN 12002 standard. The combination of very high flexibility, high bond strength and the possibility of variable thickness allows for the integration of high resistance to shear stresses into the tile structure.
  FLEXcement PREMIUM has a decoupling effect and absorbs shear stresses between the tile surface and the substrate. This allows for bonding XXL tiles, bonding to fresh cement screeds, to young concrete (at least 28 days old), and to many different substrates.

Instructions for use:

1. The application will always be done on a dry, stable, clean, sound surface, free of dust and traces of oil.
2. The support panels must always be securely fixed before starting to place the tiles.
   FLEXcement PREMIUM should be mixed with approximately 45 to 48% water, i.e. ±6.75 to 7.20 L of water on 15 kg of product.
3. After careful mixing, let the resulting glue rest for 5 minutes.
4. Next, the glue must be mixed thoroughly again. The mortar is now ready to use.
5. The surface is first covered with a thin layer of mortar using a trowel or a notched spatula.
6. This layer must be well compacted.
7. Immediately afterwards a second layer is applied which is divided into regular grooves using a notched spatula (notched spatula 4 to 20 mm).
8. Then the slabs are laid with a slight rotating motion and firmly compacted.
9. The open time of the applied layer depends on the working conditions and the substrate.

±0.8 kg/mm/m² in powder form.

Mixing ratio:

±6.75-7.20 L of water per bag (±45-48%)
