Plaspactuna flex is a two-component waterproofing mortar which, after mixing the two components (powder and liquid), provides a ready-to-use cement coating. The coating has high waterproofness , excellent adhesion and is very elastic.

Plaspactuna flex is used both indoors and outdoors for terraces, bathrooms, showers, etc. as a waterproofing layer and/or to replace waterproofing mats under tiles and panels. Plaspactuna flex is a product with very low VOC emissions and has been EMICODE EC1PLUS certified by the GEV Institute.

Features :

• According to DIN 18534, a flexible cement-based joint is recommended for heavily loaded substrates that need to be protected against water penetration.
• W2-I floor application: Substrates that are regularly exposed to water and on which water stagnates, such as inclined shower trays in private homes, sports halls and industrial applications.
• W3-I application on wall and floor: applications with frequent or prolonged exposure to both clean and used water and water used for intensive cleaning, which increases the stress when water remains on place, such as in showers in sports centers, swimming pools in wellness centers and public swimming pools, surfaces in industrial areas (industrial kitchens, industrial laundries, food industry).

Manual :

1. Undiluted PLASPACTUNA FLEX is applied generously by brush or roller, in at least 2 coats, to obtain a minimum total thickness of 2 mm.
2. For particularly stressed substrates, it is recommended to use a reinforcing net or non-woven fabric.
   This is then placed on top of the first layer, which is still wet, and gently pressed, after which a second layer is immediately applied so that the reinforcing layer is fully incorporated into the product.
3. Drying time between coats: at least 2 hours, or until the first coat is no longer damaged by the application of the second coat.
4. Drying time for tile application: 5 days.
5. Protect the applied layer from water and wind during the drying process
