Sika Screed-1 - Fast setting and drying screed - Sika

SikaScreed-1 is a pre-mixed product for the production of a fast -drying, non-shrinking screed , suitable for use indoors and outdoors.

Application areas

• Screed 3 to 6 cm thick for civil or industrial environments. It can be covered with tiles, parquet or resilient materials.
• Screed for heated floor with incorporation of pipes for underfloor heating; there is no need to add plasticizers to the mix when using SikaScreed-1.
• Usable for industrial environments, offices, shopping centers, etc.

Application

1. Place around the screed against the walls and columns a compressible material to create a separating joint.
2. The product must be applied in the same way as a normal cementitious screed, preparing areas of screed on the right level which will be used for leveling with a ruler.
3. The finish with a trowel must be done immediately after the product has been spread or at the latest within 60 minutes.
4. During this operation water can be sprinkled with a brush on the screed to make the task easier and faster, especially when using a disc concrete helicopter.
5. Clean tools with water before hardening.
6. Cured product can only be removed mechanically.

16 - 18 kg/m2 per cm of screed thickness
