Resin-EX - Acid and solvent cleaner for special stripping - Lithofin

This special stripper consists of reactive acid components assisted by extremely effective organic solvents .

Lithofin Resin-EX can replace cleaners containing CFCs (harmful and dangerous for the environment).

It softens many organic materials and dirt and makes them removable.

Stripping gel can be applied to vertical surfaces. Its consistency allows long action times.

Technical specifications :

• Density: approx. 1.1g/cm³

• Appearance: whitish, pasty, cloudy
• Smell: slightly pungent
• Solubility in water: emulsifiable
• Flash point: >90°C (cC)

Application domain :

This product is applicable both indoors and outdoors on ceramics, rough natural stone such as granite, gneiss, quartzite or concrete.

To remove organic materials such as resin, sealants and coatings, oil and grease deposits, paint (graffiti), glue, plastic residues, etc.

Manual :

On epoxy mortar joints:

1. Apply with a brush or an applicator broom on a dry surface. Duration of impregnation: approx. 20-30 mins at 20°C.
2. Then add water (even better Lithofin MN Multi-Cleanser diluted 1:10) and scrub well with a brush.
3. Wash with a jet of water while scrubbing with plenty of water. Always rub at an angle to the joints.
4. Thoroughly rinse the surface again, especially the joints, with plenty of water.
5. If there are still remnants, start again on the dry surface

On epoxy resin mortar joints (2 components):

1. Apply a thick coat by brush or roller on the dry coating. Duration of impregnation: approx. 3 hours at 20°C.
2. Then rub well with the hardest pad possible (eg a green pad for glazed ceramic tiles).
3. Add water and scrub with a brush.
4. Scrape and remove liquid, clean immediately with plenty of water.

Please note: not suitable for polished or sanded limestone (eg marble) and other acid-sensitive stones.

Protect surrounding surfaces sensitive to solvents and acids, e.g. paint, varnish, plastics, rubber, aluminum, zinc, and others.

Avoid contact of the product with the lawn and plants by watering them abundantly before and after.

Yield :

• About 5m²/l depending on the degree of fouling and up to 20m²/l for glazed ceramic tiles.
