Sika FastFix-1 TP - Mortar for bonding kerbs and directional traffic islands - Sika

Sika FastFix-1 TP is a single-component, fast- hardening hydraulic mortar.

Application

1. Spread the Sika FastFix-1 TP with a trowel or notched trowel about 5 to 10 mm thick (to obtain a final thickness of 3 mm).
2. Position the elements to be glued on the mortar.
3. Adjust using a rubber mallet and ruler.
4. Immediately remove excess glue overflowing from the road element.
5. After 1 hour at 20°C, fill the joints between the elements with Sika FastFix-1 TP.
6. Use freshly mixed mortar.

Consumption

It depends on the roughness of the support as well as the thickness of the layer applied: 2.2 kg/m²/mm of thickness (i.e. 1.9 kg of powder + 0.3 liters of water).
