The TETRA product constitutes the solution to a specific market demand : a chamber cover resistant to pressures such as those found in industrial areas or to heavy traffic. This is why this product is exclusively produced in cast iron .

The cover, certified impervious to odors and runoff water , compliant with standard EN 124 , is available with a resistance class of D400 kN .

A waterproof rubber seal ensures optimal sealing against runoff and odors when compressed when the sturdy lid with double click closure is locked .

The frame and the closing plate are made of ductile iron and covered with a layer of bituminous protection, the graphite is spherical in shape and therefore gives elastic properties which will allow it to better adapt and resist the different pressures to which it will be subjected. throughout time. While it is true that in the event of excessive forces , ductile iron products will deform , they will not break. Despite the better resistance, the material is also much lighter . The lids are therefore easy to handle during installation and user-friendly when opening and closing .

The closing plate with a ribbed non-slip surface can be opened at an angle of 100° and can even be completely removed . The free opening is a maximum of 1 m by 1 m . Inspections are therefore made easier!
The open lid has special safety notches against accidental falling . Class D 400 kN closing devices are additionally secured using 4 bolts.

A double click closure, integrated into the lid, locks the lid and ensures that the nitrile rubber seal is compressed tightly.
