The Sika Igolflex-301 is a bituminous coating , mono-component, elastomeric , in aqueous phase, applied liquid used, for the sealing of horizontal and vertical surfaces.

Application areas

Sealing

• Moisture sealing and waterproofing of below and above ground concrete building structures for protection against water ingress
• Sealing under topcoats such as under tiles in wet areas and swimming pools

Coating

• Protection of concrete against aggressive atmospheric gases (CO2 and SO2)
• Local repair and finishing of details on slate bituminous membranes

Application

1. All dust, loose or loose material must be completely removed from surfaces prior to application of the product and associated products, preferably by industrial vacuuming.
2. To confirm adequate surface preparation and good adhesion of Sika Igolflex-301, run a small test before starting full application, with -if needed- an adhesion test
3. Apply Sika Igolflex-301 on the prepared support (with or without reinforcement), using the appropriate application tools and with the required consumption.

Consumption

~1.5 kg/m² (wet layer ~1.0 mm / dry layer ~0.8 mm).

Two-layer sealing:
Maximum thickness per coat: 2.0 mm (dry coat).

Conditioning

• Cans of 10 Kg.
• 20 kg drums.
