Sika Igolflex-101 - 1-component thick bituminous emulsion - Sika

Sika Igolflex-101 is a 1 component, free from solvent based bituminous emulsion modified by polymers and improved fillers polystyrene.

Areas of application

• Sealing in a thick layer of all kinds of structures in concrete buried and above ground for protection against the penetration of water and steam.
• Sealing of soils in wet rooms and balconies underneath the screed.
• Collage of lightweight thermal insulation panels.

Features / benefits

• Application with a toothed spatula or by projection (airless).
• Ready to use.
• Does not flow on vertical surfaces.
• Remains flexible at low temperatures.
• Solvent free, non-flammable.
• Can be applied on dry and slightly wet surfaces.
• Can bridge cracks (improved characteristic so reinforced fiberglass Sika Igloflex F-01).
• Does not withstand UV.

• Sealing (in 2 layers): ~ 4,5-6,0 l/m² (wet 4,5-6,0 mm film thickness / dry film thickness 3,0-4,0 mm).
• Dry after polymerization: 67%
• Maximum thickness per layer: 8.0 mm
• Collage (in 1 layer): ~ 2.0 l/m² for the gluing of panels of thermal insulation.
