Sulfamex - Acid detergent for cement efflorescence and films - Zep Industries

Acid detergent for removing efflorescence and cement films for cleaning all types of bricks , including types of stone containing manganese.

Organic acid that can be used safely for the removal of all types of cement-related fouling , such as stains , cement film, white efflorescence in the form of calcium carbonate.

Properties :

• At the same time, it is ideal for correcting color differences in grouting caused by white efflorescence.
• Contains special additives and the aggressive effect on metals is then much less than in the case of conventional acids.
• Suitable for cleaning all types of bricks, including types of stone containing manganese.
• The active substance in Sulfamex is sulfamic acid, which is, among others, recommended by the KNB (the Royal Netherlands Brick Industry), as well as other brick and mortar manufacturers.
  The raw materials contained in Sulfamex do not produce green coloring of bricks. Certification and confirmation from the Dutch research organization TNO.
• Safe to use, does not cause harm, quick and economical application.
• Safe treatment on all types of bricks and cement mortar, with the exception of mortar containing shell remains.

Manual :

1. Sulfamex should be applied to hardened masonry on which a cement film or efflorescence has formed.
2. Does not require prior soaking of the wall.
3. Apply Sulfamex using a brush or spray and leave to act for 5 to 10 minutes.
4. If necessary, repeat the procedure. Following this duration of action it is possible to rinse the masonry with clean water (depending on the type of masonry).
   Any product residues are completely transparent and safe for bricks.
5. If Sulfamex is applied to buildings, rinse the aluminum profiles and/or glass well.
   Ideal temperature for application: > 0-20°C.
