Cemex - Cement and rust remover - Zep Industries

Removes cement and rust deposits from bricks, masonry and tools and is also used to remove dirt such as dried grease and nicotine stains from terrazzo and tiles.

Removes greenery from tiles, walls etc.
Can be used to dissolve large scale deposits on tools, in pipes and water meters.

Properties :

• Quickly dissolves cement and tartar: 1 liter can dissolve +/- 320 gr. of tartar.
• Chemically eliminates rust: rust remover for ferrous metals in a bath.
• Penetrates deeply thanks to wetting agents.
• Contains attack limiters.
  The attack on ferrous metals immersed in Cemex is only 0.5% compared to the attack of a conventional acid.
• Easily removes the remains of scale and rust on bricks, masonry and tools.
• Cement stripper.
  Cleaning mixers, mixer trucks, concrete mixers, molds, formworks, props, collars, formwork screws.
• Can also be used to dissolve scale in pipes, bases and gauges.
• Works twice as effectively as traditional cleaning products.
• Acts immediately, penetrates scale and mortar and dissolves them directly.
• Cemex rinses easily with water.
• Removing rust from boiler and cooling circuits.
• Without phosphates; surfactants are biodegradable.

Applications:

Stripping by spraying : dilute 1 volume of Cemex in 3 volumes of water.
After wetting it, spray the mixture onto the surface, leave to act for 15 minutes, then after giving it a brush, rinse thoroughly with pressurized water.
Application possible on iron, wood, plastic, tiles, stone, glass, tiles.
For better rinsing, use a presser.

Bath stripping : dilute 1 volume of Cemex in 6 volumes of water for 2 to 3 cycles.
Leave to soak for approximately 2 hours. Take out the parts and rinse them thoroughly.
Reusable for multiple strippings.

Descaling : circulate 3% of Cemex in relation to the volume of water in the circuit for 2 to 3 cycles.
Check the pH of the mixture.
If it has become neutral, add 3% Cemex and circulate again for 2 to 3 cycles.
Drain the circuit. If the solution remains acidic, rinse until the pH is neutral.

Conditions of employment:

1. Refer to the precautions for use on the packaging.
2. Protect non-ferrous metals from splashes. .
3. Protect metals from prolonged exposure to product vapors.
4. After rinsing, apply the Watelec protective product to prevent re-oxidation.
5. Do not apply to marble, slate and comblanchiens.
