• Securely attach the brush head to a Vikan compatible threaded handle.
• Lightly dampen the surface to be cleaned to facilitate scrubbing.
• Apply the brush with moderate pressure in crisscross motions to cover the entire surface.
• Maintain the brush regularly: rinse after use, let it dry, and carry out a cleaning/disinfection cycle if necessary.
• When cleaning at high temperatures, observe the temperature limits (max. 80°C for use with food contact, but can tolerate up to 100°C outside food contact, and autoclavable up to 121°C).
• Check the condition of the fibers: replace the brush as soon as the fibers are too worn to ensure effectiveness.

   Yes. The materials comply with current regulations (EC Regulation 1935/2004, REACH) for food contact under compatible usage conditions (temperatures, pH).
3. Up to what temperature can I use this brush?
   For food contact use, the maximum recommended temperature is 80°C. For non-food use, it can withstand up to 100°C. Autoclaving at 121°C is also possible according to some sources.
4. Is the Vikan handle mandatory?
   Not required, but highly recommended. This brush is designed to fit Vikan threaded handles, ensuring a secure fit and optimal compatibility. You can adapt it to other handles as long as they match the thread.
5. What color should I choose?
   Vikan offers a color-coding system for brushes to prevent cross-contamination (e.g., green for “feces” areas, red for “raw” areas, etc.). Choose the color that best suits your internal cleaning protocol.
6. How to maintain the brush to extend its lifespan?
