Sikaflex-263 is a single-component flexible polyurethane adhesive intended for bonding and sealing the windows of commercial vehicles.

Its exceptional weather resistance makes it an ideal solution for making exterior joints.
The Sikaflex-263 is compatible with bonding without Sika black primer.

Application areas

Sikaflex-263 is developed for glazing bonding and general bonding and sealing applications in the transportation industry.
Its good application properties and its increased resistance to bad weather allow the realization of exterior joints.

Sikaflex-263 is exclusively reserved for professionals.
Tests on substrates under production conditions must be carried out to guarantee adhesion and material compatibility.

Application

1. Sikaflex-263 can be applied between 5°C and 40°C (environment and product) but changes in reactivity and application properties of the product must be taken into account.
2. The optimum temperature for glue and substrate is between 15°C and 25°C.
3. Note that the viscosity of the product increases when the temperature decreases.
4. To facilitate its application, store the product at room temperature before use.
5. In order to ensure a uniform glue thickness, we recommend applying the glue in the form of triangular beads.
6. Sikaflex-263 can be applied with a manual, pneumatic or electric gun, as well as with a pump.
7. Open time is significantly reduced in hot, humid climates.
8. Always complete assembly of components within the open time window of the product.
9. Do not assemble brackets once the glue skin has formed.
