Instructions for use:

1. Preparation :
   
   • Remove damaged plaster and paint, baseboards and wallpaper around the injection area. Repair defective joints.
   • Always drill horizontally into the mortar joint (below the top joint or above the bottom joint) with a diameter of 12 mm, just above ground level, spaced 10 cm apart and to a depth of 90 to 95% of the wall thickness.
   • Determine the correct drilling depth of the holes by adjusting the drilling depth using the spacer or by attaching tape around the drill bit.
   • If an injection has already been carried out with another product, drill new holes 10 to 20 cm above the old holes. If a moisture barrier is present, drill the holes below it.
   • For a wall thickness of 9 centimeters, the depth of the borehole is 8 centimeters, i.e. 10 cm (9 cm); 19 cm (17 cm); 21 cm (19 cm); 29 cm (27 cm); 32 cm (30 cm); 39 cm (37 cm); 43 cm (40 cm).
   • When dealing with solid bricks, concrete blocks, and silicate stone, drill into the horizontal mortar joint. For hollow concrete blocks and lightweight building blocks, drill just above the mortar joint.
   • In the case of aerated concrete, drill directly into the block itself and as close as possible to ground level.
   • After drilling the holes, it is essential to thoroughly remove dust from the drill holes to ensure optimal adhesion of the injection product. This can be done by blowing on or brushing the drill hole.
2. Laid :
   • Inject the gel using a bag gun with accessories available separately (tube, fitting and adapter).
   • Solid walls: drill and inject from one side. Cavity walls: treat the inner wall first, then the outer wall. Check for debris buildup in the cavity. Corners: always treat in a fan pattern.
3. Consumption :
   • Use the correct amount of product, generally about 100 ml per linear meter per 10 cm of wall thickness.
   • Wall thickness 10 cm: 100 ml/linear meter
   • Wall thickness 19 cm: 200 ml/linear meter
   • Wall thickness 29 cm: 300 ml/linear meter
4. Smoothing:
   • Seal the drill holes with mortar or Parafix Cement Repair . The walls will only begin to dry once the product has hardened (approximately 3 weeks, depending on the moisture content of the wall). Replaster only when the wall is dry.
5. Cleaning:
   • Before hardening: clean tools and surfaces with water and remove unhardened residues.

1. What is the purpose of Parafuge Inject G?
   It serves to block rising damp in walls by creating a permanent hydrophobic barrier.
2. Is it effective on all types of walls?
   It works on the vast majority of porous materials, brick, blocks, stone, mineral plasters… However, it is not suitable for treated or non-porous walls (e.g., varnished or very dense walls).
3. How long does it take for the wall to dry?
   A very damp wall can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to dry completely. The barrier's effectiveness, however, begins as soon as the diffusion process is complete.
4. Does the cream contain solvents?
   No, the product is 100% solvent-free, based on a micro-emulsion of silane and water, which makes it healthier and less odorous.
5. How much should I plan for?
   On average, one 310ml cartridge covers approximately 1m² of wall (depending on thickness). Consumption depends on the wall's thickness and porosity.
6. Do you need a special gun?
   A manual or pneumatic syringe gun is sufficient. No injection pressure is required.
7. At what point can we re-ceiling or repaint?
   As soon as the wall is dry, which can take from a few weeks to several months depending on the initial humidity.
8. Is the barrier durable?
   Yes, silane creates a permanent hydrophobic barrier, resistant to external agents.
9. Can the injection be applied to a wall that has already been treated?
   Yes, if the previous treatment failed. The wall must be porous and clean.
10. Can the cream be used in hollow walls?
    Yes, provided the masonry is saturated or a suitable technique is used. For walls with a service cavity, prior inspection is recommended.
