1. Can this scraper be used directly by hand without a handle?
   Yes, the scraper can be used by hand for occasional use or on work surfaces. However, for large surfaces (floors), it is recommended to use a Vikan screw-thread handle for greater ergonomics.
2. Up to what temperature can this tool be cleaned?
   It can be autoclaved up to 121°C. In continuous use, it is suitable up to approximately 170°C depending on the application (non-food).
3. Is it suitable for food industry environments?
   Yes, the material complies with EU regulation 1935/2004 for food contact, is FDA approved, and designed according to food safety principles (e.g. HACCP method).
4. Can the blade be replaced?
   No, this model is designed as a blade and body assembly. If worn, it is best to replace the entire tool. (Dull edges can compromise effectiveness.)

   It is compatible with all standard Vikan screw-thread handles. It can therefore be adapted according to length or use (short handle, long handle, hygienic handle, etc.)
