It is suitable for surfaces accessible to vehicles in the private and public domain.
Under certain conditions, for surfaces occasionally accessible to heavy vehicles (trucks, tractors, etc.) with a load per wheel ≤ 5 t provided that the substructure is sufficiently resistant and presents no risk of subsidence under the weight of the circulation.

However, in this case, it is advisable to contact our Technical Department first.
As the product is self-compacting, it can also be used for the occasional renovation of damaged joints provided that the pavement and the support are stable.

Properties and advantages:

Remarks :

  1. Knauf Easyjoint fine should never be mixed with other products.
  2. Do not allow rinsing water to flow into drains or drains.
These could become blocked by the accumulation of excess mortar.
  3. Pedestrian access possible after min. 4 hours (at 20°C). Definitive loading after 7 days.
The technical data relating to the time of implementation, the times of practicability, final loading and resistance apply for temperatures of 20°C and a relative humidity of the air of 50%.
  4. Protect the joint during its hardening from excessively rapid drying, drafts, direct sunlight, heavy rain and frost.
  5. Order the quantity of material needed to grout the entire surface to avoid possible color differences between different orders.
The remains of hardened products will be disposed of as site waste, in accordance with local regulations in force.
  6. Be sure to follow the recommendations of the pavers manufacturers.
It is always recommended to carry out a preliminary test on a small surface.
  7. Clean tools, containers, etc. immediately with water.
In the solid state, only mechanical cleaning is possible.
  8. Different humidity levels in the substrate can cause color nuances in the sealing mortar, even when dry.
We cannot be held responsible for this type of discoloration or nuance in the joints made.
  9. Do not apply too large surfaces at a time.
  10. Wetting the surface can sometimes dissolve the salts present in the pavers or the foundation (depending on the nature of the pavers and the underpinning) and therefore favor the appearance of efflorescence on the surface during drying.
This is a natural phenomenon which in no way affects the quality of the grouting or the pavers, and which will naturally disappear over time.
