ProtectGuard EM vegetable formula is a color intensifying water and oil repellent impregnating agent for mineral materials such as natural stone, artificial stone, concrete, terracotta, sandstone, granite and plaster .

It deepens the color of the existing material and gives it a permanent and intense wet look. ProtectGuard EM plant-based formula was developed with plant-based raw materials and is more than 97% biodegradable.

Use

ProtectGuard EM Pro Plant Formula is ideal indoors and outdoors on all types of porous or low-porous floors: limestone, terracotta tiles, terracotta, brick, natural and reconstituted stone, blue stone, concrete, marble, granite, etc.

ProtectGuard EM Pro Plant Formula can also be applied to vertical surfaces.

Implementation

1. Use the product in its pure state: do not dilute.
2. Shake the packaging well for 5 minutes before use and carry out a preliminary test.
3. The support must be impregnated in 2 even layers with an interval of 30 minutes.
   The first coat must be completely dry to the touch before applying the second.
4. Do not spray the product, apply with a roller or brush.
5. Do not overload the support, apply a thin layer, taking care to pull the product well.
6. In the event of overload, the support may leave a sticky effect which will disappear in a few days.
   Do not attempt to rinse the media with water.
   Allow to dry in the open air.
7. Protection of treated surfaces from rain and opening to pedestrian traffic: 24 hours.
8. Optimal effectiveness obtained after 7 days

Application tools

Apply preferably with a roller:

• Smooth support = bristles 4 to 6 mm.
• Textured support = 6 to 8 mm pile.

It is also possible to apply using a wide brush.

Consumption

±10m² / L (depending on the porosity of the material).

1 L and 4 L.
