Carbond 955DG - Fast adhesive for bodywork and windscreens - Soudal

Carbond 955DG is a high elasticity polyurethane body repair adhesive sealant which has been specially developed for the rapid bonding of windscreens. This product has been TUV approved for application with one or two airbags. Guaranteed drying in 2 hours (6 hours with double airbag).

Applications:

• Installation of windows in vehicles.

Manual :

• Clean the glass and treat the edge of the glass with Carbond 955 DC Cleaner/Activator to activate the adhesion of the primer.
• Apply Carbond 955 DC Primer and allow to dry for at least 10 minutes.
• Remove the moldings and cut out the old glass.
• Cut the old sealant up to 1 or even 2mm.
• Treat any paint damage with Carbond 955 DG Primer.
• Apply Carbond 955 DG in triangular strips on the glass or on the car.
• Carefully put the glass in place, press lightly and reassemble the mouldings.
• The car can be moved after one hour and ready to drive after three hours.
• Method of application: With a manual or pneumatic gun.
• Cleaning product: with White Spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use (before hardening).
• Finish: Smoothing with soapy water or Soudal smoothing product before lamination.

Repair:

• With the same product.
