Insulation foam - Sprayable PU insulation foam - Soudal

Sprayable insulation foam is a one-component, ready-to-use, expansive polyurethane foam, ideal for insulating all types of substrates to improve thermal performance and reduce the risk of thermal bridges.

The cartridge has a thread so that it can be used on a gun.

Sprayable insulation foam can be used with the associated spray tip for horizontal and vertical application to level uneven surfaces and reach difficult areas.

Characteristics

Applications

• Insulation and waterproofing of doors, lintels, walls, ceilings and other rooms to reduce the risk of thermal bridges.
• Insulation of pipes, attics, cellars, balconies, garages, tanks and vats.

Instructions for use

Before using the product, protect adjacent areas to avoid splashing. Good ventilation should be provided for indoor use. Wear goggles and protective gloves.

Attach the application tip to the end of the gun. Shake the aerosol for at least 20 seconds. Screw the aerosol onto the spray gun. The surface must be free of grease and dust. Moisten surfaces with a water sprayer before application.

For unconventional substrates, a preliminary adhesion test is recommended.

Choose the orientation of the nozzle for vertical or horizontal application. The flow rate of the foam can be adjusted by the screw on the back of the gun.

Apply the foam at a distance of 30 to 40 cm from the surface. The application distance will determine the width of the foam spraying.

The foam will expand twice the thickness of what is being sprayed.
