Flexy-zem - Cemflex - Elastic polymer seal - Akemi

An elastic polymer joint with a cement view that contains high-tech building materials .

Application areas:

• For elastic joints in cement look for ceramics, natural stone (on plinths), concrete, ...
• As an expansion joint, which is visually indistinguishable from the cement joint.
• As a silicone sealant between the floor and the baseboard, which ensures a uniform appearance.

Use :

1. Contact surfaces must be dry, clean, grease and dust free; cleaning with AKEMI Cleaner A on natural and artificial stone, tiles, ceramics, glass, varnished wood and metals; AKEMI Cleaner I for plastic materials and painted surfaces.
2. Use the AKEMI joint bead to avoid triple adhesion of the sidewall and when the joints are deep; for any application in damp rooms and outdoors, use polyethylene jointing cords, otherwise polyurethane sponge jointing cords. Dimension of joints minimum 3 x 5 mm.
3. Glue the surfaces at the joint lips with the AKEMI Adhesive Tape.
4. If used outdoors and on certain surfaces (see Primer table) we recommend painting the sides with our primers.
5. Application temperature from +5°C to +35°C.
6. Apply product and smooth within 5-10 minutes; dry smoothing provides an optimal matte effect (without using smoothing products).
7. Remove the adhesive strip by pulling it towards the joint before a skin forms.
8. Hardening depends on the layer thickness, temperature and relative air humidity and amounts to approx. 1 to 3 mm per 24 hours.
9. Tools can be cleaned with AKEMI Nettoyant A.
