Silicone with chemical resistance - Akemi

1-component product hardening by the action of air humidity for sealing and grouting in chemically charged areas.

It can be used in breweries, large kitchens, laboratories, laundries etc. Places cleaned by high-pressure cleaners, as well as for joints exposed to heavy goods vehicles, in car parks, underground garages, warehouses.

Use :

1. Contact surfaces must be dry, clean, grease and dust free; cleaning with AKEMI Cleaner A on natural and artificial stone, tiles, ceramics, glass, varnished wood and metals; AKEMI Cleaner I for plastic materials and painted surfaces.
2. Use AKEMI joint beads to avoid triple adhesion of the sidewall and when the joints are deep; for any application in damp rooms and outdoors, use polyethylene jointing beads, otherwise polyurethane sponge jointing beads.
   Size of joints min. 3x5mm.
3. Glue the surfaces at the joint lips with the AKEMI Adhesive Tape.
4. Due to good adhesion to different materials, observe the primer table.
5. Application temperature +5°C up to +40°C (it is essential that the sides are dry).
6. Apply product and smooth over 5-10 minutes; the AKEMI Smoothing Palette and the AKEMI Smoothing Product provide optimal smoothing.
7. Remove the adhesive strip by pulling it towards the joint before a skin forms.
8. The solidification depends on the layer thickness, the temperature and the relative humidity of the air and amounts to approx. 2 - 3 mm. per 24 hour period.
9. Tools can be cleaned with AKEMI Nettoyant A.
