Weatherpoint 365 - Jointing sand for joints from 10 to 30 mm - Marshalls

Weatherpoint is an easy-to-use grouting material that has been developed specifically for walkways, but can also be used for trails and terraces

Properties:

  • Quick installation in all types of weather
  • Use Weatherpoint for joints from 10 to 30 mm, with a depth of at least 30 mm
  • The soil must be permeable
  • If the paver is used for a driveway, the paver must be installed on a full stabilized layer.
  • Suitable product for slabs and pavers with high density, such as ceramic tiles and molded concrete pavers.
  • When there are porous materials (e.g. natural stone, pressed concrete) adjacent to the treated surface, these materials must be covered during the installation of the Weatherpoint to avoid stains.
  • A single component
  • Passable
  • Frost resistant

Pose:

Always provide a test area to assess suitability.

The minimum installation temperature is 0°C

Caution – When using the product at high temperatures, the material will dry very quickly. It is therefore imperative to treat only small areas at a time, so that the surface to be treated can remain moistened continuously. If this is not respected, the dried product will stain the surface of your slabs/pavers

  1. Water the pavement until saturation. CAUTION – If the pavement is not well wet, stains will appear temporarily.
  2. Spread the buckets on the surface to be joined and remove the Weatherpoint already. This way you can work faster. Open the bucket and vacuum packaging as soon as you start. Spread the Weatherpoint material on the surface.
  3. Sweep the product into the joints with a hard-bristled broom. Make sure the pavement stays wet at all times. Thus, the product will easily slide into the joints. Swipe the joints diagonally (45°). Make sure the seals are fully filled. Use the product within one hour of opening the package.
  4. Put the remaining product back in the bucket. Fill the bucket with water, so that the product is covered with water of at least 8 cm. The product can thus be stored for up to 1 month after opening.
  5. Squeeze the joints with a rejointing iron. Fill the hollows of Weatherpoint and squeeze again.
  6. Water the surface carefully using a garden hose with a wide-angle water jet. Sweep the remaining product with a soft bristle broom. To obtain a perfect seal, let it dry a little and squeeze the joints again with the iron to be rejoined. Allow the product to dry. Weatherpoint will be completely resistant to loads after 3 days of hot and dry weather in a row, with a humidity of up to 65%.
