Caltar - Release agent for bitumen products - Zep Industries

Removes the adhesion of bituminous products on all supports and resists temperatures above 185°C.

Properties :

• Removes the adhesion of bituminous products on all supports.
• Resists temperatures above 185°C.
• Does not change the characteristics of the asphalt.
• Does not attack paints.
• More than 90% biodegradable surfactants.
• Applies to all supports. Does not leave a deposit on the support.
• Soluble in water at very high dilution.
  In solution with water, remains stable.
• Promotes the sliding of bituminous products.
• Used to protect dump trucks, pavers, compactors, spreaders, skips, asphalt plants, and all equipment.

Applications:

Dilution for dump trucks, skips, spreaders, equipment: a solution of one volume of Caltar in 15 to 20 water will give good results.

Using a sprayer, spray the solution evenly onto the surface to be protected.
Dilution for compactors, finishers: a solution of one volume of Caltar in 30 to 40 volumes of water will give good results.
