Sikafloor-304 W - Matt Top Coat - Sika

Sikafloor-304 W is a 2-component , water-based, polyurethane -based, matte topcoat with very low VOC content.

Application domain

Matte topcoat for systems in the Sika ComfortFloor range.

Application

1. First stir component A mechanically.
2. Then add component B to component A and mix continuously for 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
3. Add 5 - 7% water while mixing the two components.
4. To ensure proper mixing, pour the mixed product into a clean container and remix briefly.
5. Allow the material to sit for 10 minutes after mixing.
6. Avoid mixing for too long and too quickly to minimize air entrapment.
7. Before application, check the humidity of the surface, the relative humidity of the air and the dew point.
8. Distribute the product evenly on the support using a short nylon nap roller.
9. Sikafloor-304 W can also be applied by airless spray equipment.
10. A finish without joints/thickening is obtained when applying the product “fresh on fresh”.

Consumption

~ 0.13 kg/m²/coat (diluted with 5 - 7% water).
These figures are theoretical and do not take into account additional product due to porosity, roughness, unevenness in the support, product loss, etc.
