ECONOTAPIS VILT - Vilt Carpet - Polypropylene Paillasson
This 14mm and 20 mm thick entry mat has a polypropylene fiber surface on a latex back glued to a foam pvc underlay.
The Econotapis Vilt hangs dirt and moisture from the soles. Economical, it has been specially developed for entrances and door passage.
Thanks to the rubber back, this doormat is non-slip.
This carpet can be cleaned with a carpet shampoo and therefore remains easy to maintain.

Tests:
In collaboration with the University of Ghent.
- Fire test: The doormat corresponds to the Dfl category (impregnated version: Cfl) in the direction of walking, in accordance with EN ISO 11925-2 and EN ISO 9239-1.
- Smoke test: The doormat corresponds to the category S2 (impregnated version: S1)
- Resistance to light: Resistance to photogradation. Made according to ISO 105 B02 (1994) with a result in category 6-7, where category 8 is the best result (2002).
- Wronz test: Big wear test. The doormat gets a value of 25,000, i.e. the equivalent of 500,000 to 1,200,000 passes. We can provide test reports 02-796C, 02-797C and 02-798C.
- Static load test: There are no restrictions on the load caused by normal passageways, trolleys and wheelchairs. For heavy traffic, it is necessary to avoid rotating movements, otherwise the manufacturer always advises the use of a protective panel.
The fire and smoke tests were carried out according to the EN 13501-1 (2007-A1:2009) classification. The products have not been impregnated or treated by a coating, they are still durable characteristics of the materials used.
ecological footprint:
The manufacturer is committed to reducing the ecological footprint for the production of its products.
For this reason, the products are made from 100% reusable energy and with local materials. Most of the materials used to produce this doormat are reusable and can get a new life.

Polypropylene has great value for money and is hydrophobic! This material is ideal for applications that do not require excessive resistance but has good resistance to abrasion. Polypropylene is very resistant to chemicals, so it can be used for many applications.
Polyamide, better known as "Nylon", is a fairly dense fiber with a fairly large break length (15 to 20%). Its strong lengthening allows it to preserve the fasteners in case of tension. Plus: Polyamide does not blacken when burned. Polyamide absorbs water.
