ProtectGuard Dtox is a totally innovative product that combines waterproof, oleofuge and anti-graffiti properties as well as clean-up properties.

ProtectGuard Dtox provides long-lasting protection against water, infiltration, air pollution, greasy dirt and stains. Treated facades become self-cleaning and less foul.

ProtectGuard Dtox is also cleansing. It uses the principle of photocatalysis to eliminate pollutants in the outside air. Under the action of UV rays, it degrades pollutants (VOCs, bacteria, exhaust gases...). The air is purified in this way.

ProtectGuard Dtox is a non-filmogenic impregnation product, thus remaining permeable to air and water vapour. Completely colorless after application, it does not change the appearance or the nature of the treated medium. In addition, it is perfectly resistant to UV rays and does not yellow over time.

Preparing support:

• Apply the product to a clean, dusted, grease-free and dry surface. To remove stains and traces of pollution use Wash'Guard, for greasy stains, use Ecological Decap'Sols Guard and for traces of efflorescences, milks or cement veils use Ecological Guard Decap'Laitances.
• Rinse thoroughly until the surface is free of any trace of the cleanser.

Application:

• Use the product in its purest form: do not dilute.
• Shake the packaging well before use and do a pre-test.
• The support should be impregnated to saturation in a single layer or in two "wet-on-wet" layers.
• Do not overload the support, remove any excess before drying.
• Apply from bottom to top on vertical supports.
• Protected drying: 24 hours.
• Optimal efficiency obtained after 7 days.

Application tools:

Apply to low-pressure sprayer, roller or brush.

Consumption:

• Terracotta brick: 7 m2/L
• Architectural concrete: 5 m2/L
• Monolayer coating: 2.5 m2/L
• Limestone: 2 m2/L
