PUPR-41P is a solvent-free primer suitable for pretreating all porous screeds.
Isolates residual moisture from the screed up to 4% CM.
EC 1 PLUS label: very low VOC emissions .

Applications:

• PUPR-41P removes residual moisture from the construction (maximum 4% for concrete screeds and maximum 3% for anhydrite screeds).
• Furthermore, PUPR-41P binds the residues.

Instructions for use:

• First, allow PUPR-41P to reach room temperature before use.
• Apply the undiluted primer evenly to the surface from a (paint) bucket using a chamois or foam roller or a brush.
• Do not pour the primer onto the surface to avoid the formation of puddles.
• A primer that is not properly dried has negative consequences on the final result.
• This can result in the formation of craters or reduced adhesion.
• Apply 2 coats in a cross pattern when the residual moisture is 4% CM.
• On very porous and very absorbent surfaces, it is recommended to apply a second coat of primer.
• Apply this second coat only when the first one is completely dry.
• Each layer must form a thin, closed film.
• Cleaning product: With White Spirit or Soudal Surface Cleaner immediately after use (before hardening).
• Polymerized PUPR 41P can only be removed mechanically.

   It is highly recommended, especially on absorbent or very smooth surfaces, as it optimizes adhesion and limits the risk of peeling.
2. Can it be used on tiles?
   Yes, on non-absorbent surfaces such as tiles, PUPR-41P primer improves the adhesion of parquet glue.
3. How long should you wait before laying the parquet flooring?
   Drying time is generally 30 to 60 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity. The surface should be dry to the touch.
4. Is the product compatible with underfloor heating?
   Yes, provided that the support complies with the standards and that the heating is carried out correctly before installation.
5. What is the yield of a can of PUPR-41P?
   Yield varies depending on the porosity of the substrate, on average 80 to 120 g/m².
6. Can a second coat be applied?
   This is possible for highly absorbent surfaces, but rarely necessary. A single coat is sufficient in most cases.
7. Does the primer contain solvents?
   No, this is a low-emission product, EC1 PLUS certified, and respectful of indoor air quality.
8. Is it compatible with all parquet adhesives?
   It is optimized for Soudal adhesives. For other brands, a preliminary adhesion test is recommended.
