Hybrid and PU Primer - Ready-to-use polyurethane primer - DL Chemicals

Ready-to-use polyurethane primer that promotes the adhesion of PU sealants and hybrid and MS polymer sealants. Suitable for use on porous and non-porous surfaces.

• Reduces or even prevents blisters generated by curing under harsh conditions on porous materials such as concrete or wood.

Applications:

• Suitable for absorbent and non-absorbent surfaces.
• Can also be used to prevent migration of plasticizers

Instructions for use:

1. Preparation :
   • Surfaces must be solid, dry and free from dust and grease.
   • If necessary, degrease with Parasilico Cleaner, MEK, alcohol or ethanol.
   • It is advisable to test the product on all surfaces before use.
   • Shake well before application.
2. Laid :
   • Apply the primer with a brush in a thin, even, and homogeneous layer. Avoid thick coats as this will reduce adhesion.
   • For porous surfaces, it is necessary to apply the primer in two coats.
   • After the 15 minute drying time, the sealant/glue should be applied as soon as possible (within 60 minutes).
   • Close the bottle after use as the primer is sensitive to humidity. Once opened, use the product within 1 month.
3. Consumption :
   • ± 5 - 10 m²/liter
4. Cleaning:
   • For the first 5 minutes, cleaning with White Spirits is possible. After this time, a MEC mixture is required.
