LIQ shower kit consists of 4 kg of LIQ membrane , 2 cuffs , 12 m of reinforcement strip and 1 brush .

Membrane LIQ is a waterproof and elastic underlay for walls and floors in damp areas such as bathrooms, showers and toilets which is used before the installation of tiles or ceramic coverings.

Suitable substrates are all mineral surfaces , wooden boards , ceilings , plaster wall panels , floors with underfloor heating, etc.

Features :

• This flexible, crack-resistant coating can be used indoors on all mineral surfaces, wooden boards, plasterwork, plaster wall panels, floors with underfloor heating, etc.
• LIQ membrane is not suitable for water leaks and for use in swimming pools.
  LIQ membrane complies with standard EN 14891, type DMO1P and forms a watertight membrane after drying with improved crack bridging at low temperatures (-5°C) and resistant to contact with chlorinated water.
  Membrane LIQ is a product with low TVOC emissions (TVOC after 28 days < 100 μg/m3) and is EMICODE EC2 certified by the GEV institute.
• The Membrane LIQ reinforcement strip is used to reinforce and reinforce Membrane LIQ.
  The application of the reinforcement strip increases the thickness of the system.
  It is applied for the reinforcement of corners and angles

Manual :

1. LIQ membrane is always applied to a healthy, pure surface, free of dust and oil stains.
2. Stir well before using.
3. LIQ membrane is applied abundantly in two or three layers using a brush or roller.
4. For the base coat, Membrane LIQ is diluted with 5% water.
5. The second and third coats are not diluted.
6. The previous coat must always be dry before the next coat can be applied.
7. In critical areas such as corners, around pipe crossings, etc. a reinforcement can be placed in the still wet base layer (a reinforcing strip) after which this area is immediately covered with a second layer.
8. Subsequent layers can then be applied.
9. LIQ membrane can also be sprayed with an airless system.
10. In this case, the dilution of the first layer is not indicated. To bond tiles to the LIQ Membrane, you must use a C2 S1 tile adhesive, such as FLEXcement PLUS or FLEXcement RAPID.

Consumption :

Shower kit LIQ allows you to insulate a surface area of +/-5 m2.
