Reinforcement strip - LIQ waterproofing membrane - PTB Compaktuna

Reinforcement strip based on polypropylene fibers is used to reinforce and reinforce LIQ Membrane .

Features :

• The application of the reinforcement strip increases the thickness of the system.
• Is applied for reinforcement of corners and angles.
• Based on thermally fixed polypropylene fibers and very resistant to attack by chemicals.
• Easily applied in corners and edges.
• For sealing applications where corners and edges are reinforced with reinforcing strip, the reinforcing strip comes in 12cm wide, so that there is at least 5cm remaining on each side of the corner.
  For an airtight construction, it may be advisable to apply a large reinforcing veil at the height of the seat block.

Manual :

1. In critical places like corners, around pipes, etc. the reinforcing strip is applied to the still wet MEMBRANE LIQ base coat before applying the second and third coats.
2. Immediately apply a coat of coating to the reinforcing strip to completely impregnate the strip.
3. The total thickness of the system must be at least 1 mm.
