PUR clear coat - Varnish - clear lacquer - Vosschemie Soloplast

APUR clear coat is a durable, high-gloss and slightly elastic 2-component PU varnish, specially developed for finishing wood, but also suitable for plastic, metal and non-ferrous metals.

• Extremely resistant to sun, water, chemicals and diluted acids and alkalis.
• Retains its high gloss and is UV resistant.

Applications:

• As a topcoat for various applications on the boat in construction and model making; can be used both indoors and outdoors.
• High scratch resistance and gloss level after curing.
• Can be applied by brush or roller.
• Clear Coat can also be sprayed on.

Treatment :

1. Always ensure a dry and grease-free surface.
2. Mix the individual components well before use.
3. Add hardener in a 2:1 volume ratio.
4. For the first coat it is best to add 15-20% thinner, for subsequent coats you can add up to 5% thinner.
5. After mixing the two components, add the thinner and let this mixture stand for ten minutes before using it.
6. Apply 2 to 4 coats with a waiting time between coats of 4 hours minimum up to 2 days maximum.
   Processing time: +-3 hours at 20°C Dust dry after 2 hours.
7. For spray application you should add up to 15-20% thinner for the first coat, for subsequent coats it is 0-20%.
8. Use a 1.3 – 1.4 nozzle with a working pressure of 2-3 bar.
9. Full hardening is achieved after 7 days at 20°C
10. In case of high humidity (above 60%), take into account the possible formation of small bubbles on the surface.

Security :

• Always wear appropriate protective clothing and gloves.
• Avoid prolonged contact with skin.
• Tool cleaner: M cleaner (ecological substitute for acetone)
