Sika Boom-420 Fire is a single-component, fire-resistant , expanding polyurethane foam .
The product is fire resistant for up to 180 minutes according to EN 1366-4.
The Sika Boom-420 Fire combo aerosol allows application with a gun (with adapter) or directly with the supplied extrusion nozzle .

Application
Application with a spray gun:
- After shaking the package, remove the extrusion nozzle from the adapter.
- Screw Sika Boom-420 Fire with the aerosol adapter onto the gun valve.
The amount of extruded expanding foam can be adjusted by pressing more or less on the trigger or by tightening or loosening the knob on the gun. - Spray the mousse while keeping the aerosol can upside down.
- Fill deep joints in several layers.
- Wait long enough for each layer to expand and polymerize sufficiently before re-wetting for the next layer.
- Do not completely fill the holes/cavities as the foam expands during polymerization.
- Use an extension tube to fill narrow openings (the flow rate with an extension tube is lower).
- Do not unscrew the unemptied Sika Boom-420 Fire aerosol from the gun.
Removing an unemptied Sika Boom-420 Fire aerosol can can lead to foam splashing. - Thoroughly clean the gun after use with Sika Boom Cleaner.
- Removing the aerosol without cleaning with Sika Boom Cleaner may damage the gun.
Application to the extrusion nozzle:
- After shaking the packaging, remove the extrusion nozzle from the adapter and remove the adapter from the aerosol.
- Screw the extrusion nozzle firmly onto the aerosol can without pressing the trigger.
The amount of extruded expanding foam can be adjusted by pressing the trigger more or less. - Spray the foam while keeping the aerosol can upside down. Fill deep joints in several layers.
- Wait long enough for each layer to expand and polymerize sufficiently before re-wetting for the next layer.
- Do not completely fill the holes/cavities as the foam expands during polymerization.
- Use an extension tube to fill narrow openings (the flow rate with an extension tube is lower).
