      PE joint filler - Joint filler - Soudal

      The PE joint filler is a round profile made of closed-cell polyethylene foam.

      • It is mainly used to fill gaps in construction and expansion joints, to ensure correct dimension for sealant application.
      • Can also be used as a sealing strip.

      Features :

      • Very good applicability
      • Great flexibility
      • Resistant to compression and traction
      • Very good resistance to many chemicals, mild acids or alkalis
      • Compatible with most sealants used (silicone, polyurethane, polysulphide, acrylic, ...)
      • Available in several widths, length = 1 m (sold by 50).

      Applications:

      • For filling construction and expansion joints.
      • Joint backing to prevent the adhesion of sealants on three sides.

      Manual :

      1. The diameter of the round PE joint bottom must be 25% greater than the space between the two construction supports.
