Soudabond 280 Power spray - Contact adhesive - Soudal

Soudabond 280 Power Spray is a very powerful universal contact adhesive, to be applied on both sides and based on synthetic rubbers.

• The spray-applied glue is easy to use and provides strength and powerful adhesion to most common mounting materials.
• It retains its adhesive power even under tension and is suitable for materials that must be fixed, loaded or treated immediately.
• Its high strength makes it the perfect bonding solution in a multitude of applications, in the construction and automotive industries.

Applications:

• For bonding most substrates (not suitable for uneven surfaces).
• Suitable for fast bonding of e.g. plastics, metal, wood, porcelain, cork, leather, ceramics, cardboard, paper and rubber.
• Suitable for bonding surfaces subject to low stress.

Manual :

• Shake the aerosol well before use.
• During application, keep the aerosol upright and keep pressing on the head.
• Spray from a distance of approximately 5 to 10 cm.
• Apply the glue evenly on both surfaces to be glued.
• Spray the glue, in a band, on the surface.
• It is advisable to make a second pass on half of each strip of glue so that the entire surface is covered with 2 layers.
  Two light coats (with overlap) give better results than one heavy coat.
• Wait at least 5 minutes (at 23°C and 50% RH) and close the glue.
• Press firmly.
  It is the power and not the duration of compression that determines the final force.
• After use, turn the aerosol upside down and squeeze the head until only the propellant escapes.
  This prevents the aerosol from becoming clogged with the product.
