ATTENTION: The profiles are installed perpendicular to the direction of travel.

If necessary, depending on the depth ordered and the width of the aluminum profiles + intervals, i.e. +- 36 mm. We adapt the width of the intervals (3 or 5 or 6 mm) in order to obtain the desired depth.

PRESENTATION

Durable nylon fabric dries quickly. It allows you to create an acoustic and versatile entrance mat. Its modular DESIGN combines attractive looks with high quality services, thanks to the unique composition of technological textile, high quality aluminum and a multitude of possibilities.

This doormat finds its place in every interior, home, store, administration, school or office,... thanks to its great resistance to high frequencies of passage, up to 2,500 per day. 5 year WARRANTY.

Roll-up, flexible doormat, made of aluminum support profiles with a surface of polyamide strips.

The aluminum profiles are connected by 4 mm black PVC connections provided with holes that allow dirt to escape and a rubber strip that ensures sound insulation and an anti-slip function.

An ingenious aluminum structure houses an acoustic anti-slip layer and guarantees better absorption of moisture and dirt which is easily vacuumed up after rolling up the doormat.

CHOICE OF DOORMAT FRAME

When ordering the custom frame, it is necessary to indicate the external dimensions of the frame . Our technical services will calculate the useful dimensions of the doormat.

In order to compensate for the thickness of the doormat frame, it may be necessary to provide a re-surfacing (Egaline type) of the doormat bottom or a rubber underlay of a few mm, see on this page "RUB - Rubber underlay rubber for entrance doormats"

TESTING

In collaboration with Ghent University

Fire test: The doormat corresponds to category Bfl in the direction of travel, in accordance with EN ISO 11925-2 and EN ISO 9239-1.

Smoke test: The doormat corresponds to category S1

Light resistance: Resistance to photodegradation. Performed according to ISO 105 B02(1994) with a result in category 6-7, where category 8 is the best result (2002).

Wronz test: Heavy wear test. The doormat gets a value of 25,000, i.e. the equivalent of 500,000 to 1,200,000 passages. We can provide test reports 02-796C, 02-797C and 02-798C.

Static load test: The doormat resists a pressure of 600 kg per cm2. We can provide test reports 03-601 and 03-601 bis. There are no restrictions on the load caused by normal passages, trolleys and wheelchairs. For heavy traffic, turning movements must be avoided, otherwise the manufacturer always recommends the use of a protection panel.

Humidity absorption test: The doormat has a moisture absorption capacity greater than 1000 ml/m2. We can provide test reports 02-796B, 02-797B and 02-798B.


The fire and smoke tests were carried out according to classification EN 13501-1 (2007+A1:2009). The products have not been impregnated or treated with a coating, these are always durable characteristics of the materials used.

ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT

The manufacturer is committed to reducing the ecological footprint for the production of its products.

For this reason, the products are made from 100% reusable energy and with local materials.

The production of DESIGN CleanMid doormats is done with Econyl® yarns of which at least 80% comes from recycled material.
